The Branicks: Absent in Action

So I do realize it has been at least a month since I have posted anything. I have been experiencing some technical difficulties with blogger, none of which has been fixed, so I recently figured out a random way to get to my blog and post.

Anyway, this summer has been wonderfully busy with family and friends. We have been enjoying numerous play dates to the zoo, park, pool, and the list goes on. Oliver LOVES being outside and it's a good thing because he has so much energy to burn! Something cute that he has just started doing recently is singing! It is adorable to hear him walking around the house singing Ring Around the Rosie.:)

Myla has gone from pulling-up to walking (while she is holding something). It is just a mater of time before she is standing without help and walking. Goodness gracious, it is true what they say about children growing up so fast! It feels like she was just a little seven pound baby not that long ago. And now she is 23!

We have been to Manhattan a lot this summer and to Russell twice now. We are really enjoying all this special time with our families. I have to say that I am just bubbling up with happiness when Oliver talks sweetly about his Grandma and Grandpa and Nana and Papa. He gets so excited when we tell him we are going to either of their houses for a visit. I love that he is going to have such a close relationship with his grandparents as that is something that I didn't really have growing up.

We are off to Manhattan again this weekend for literally the fifth time since the beginning of May. My friend Ramey is getting married and I am really looking forward to seeing her and all my old friends. She is going to be such a beautiful bride!
